Examples

Three projects show Director-Driven Development in use, one for each framework. Each card says what the project is, where to play or see it, and where its records are, so you can read the decisions and the task list as they were written.

Godot-Director

PKSEI

A rage game about four drunk guys paddling a canoe catamaran across a lake, built as a tech demo for Godot-Director.

Play it: freakling.itch.io/pksei, in the browser and free.

Records: the design document, the decision log, TASKS.md and AGENTS.md in Freakling/PKSEI, plus its devlog.

App-Director

This site

The site you are reading is built with App-Director: every change is a task, and one check passes before every commit. The same repository also develops the three frameworks.

See it: you are on it. The source is Freakling/Director-Driven-Development.

Records: TASKS.md and product/, including how framework work runs.

SaaSAllTheThings

The Azure SaaS guide

A step-by-step worked example of building a multi-tenant B2B SaaS on Azure with SaaSAllTheThings, from an empty repository, an existing app or a proof of concept to a released dev stage.

Read it: Build a B2B SaaS on Azure with Director-Driven Development on saemundsson.se.

Records: the post shows them as they appear in your repository: product/prd.md, product/decisions.md and TASKS.md.

Start with PKSEI, which has the full story: the loop as it ran, what the check caught, the numbers and the recipe.

The records are the diary of how it was built.saemundsson.se
